Day Two - Monday June 7th - Santa Cruz to King City

108 miles

Day Two would bring us more cool weather until after lunch. It is the longest day but a fast day because of a lack of substantive hills and always a nice tailwind. We would travel down to Monterey Bay and then out in the farmlands of the Salinas Valley. We got (and would continue to get) a lot of comments on the sign I made up just before the ride that I put on the back of our tandem bicycle , "Just Married thanks to eHarmony.com".
